Ricardo Veloso

Ricardo Veloso is a Founding Partner of Nexus Approach and Managing Partner of the Legal Approach International Law Network, a multidisciplinary platform headquartered in Lisbon, operating across EMEA and with partnerships in all CPLP member states.

With more than twenty years of international experience, Ricardo advises corporate groups, investors, family offices and executive teams on complex cross-border transactions, corporate governance, regulatory risk and international expansion. His work sits at the point where corporate strategy, regulation and institutional relationships converge — the ground on which Nexus Approach was built.

Ricardo also advises on international taxation, global mobility and strategic immigration, supporting HNWIs, executives and investors on relocation, tax residency, wealth structuring and the design of multi-jurisdictional holding and investment structures.

Before founding Nexus Approach and the Legal Approach International Law Network, he was a Senior Director at EY (Regulatory & Immigration Services) and a Senior Manager at PwC (Corporate & Regulatory Services), having previously practised with internationally focused Portuguese law firms.

Over the course of his career, Ricardo has led engagements across EMEA and the CPLP — markets where regulation, government relations and commercial objectives are inseparable, and where he has built the working relationships and jurisdictional fluency on which clients rely.
